PROGRAM TITLE: "Energy and environment"
 

SUMMARY OF PROGRAM

Two main objectives:

  1. The students can report the "deposits of" energy and know their use in the daily life.
  2. To be in position to propose ways of saving of natural resources and at extension the protection of environment.
 

Activities:

  1. Presentation of subject and separation of students in teams.
  2. Completion of suitable questionnaires.
  3. Projection slides, documentaries, use of internet. Presentation of photographs of energy installations and the surroundings.
  4. Visits to the hydroelectric factory of Plastira and to the energy park in Volos.
  5. Creation of a booklet on the saving of energy.
  6. Presentation of the subject: One theatrical play with roles that will show the sensitization of students.
 

Work:

  1. Concentration of information on energy.
  2. Drawings in sketches how they imagine energy
  3. Suspension in the school of cardboard showing sources and forms of energy.
  4. A research of the number of installed solar heaters.
