PROGRAM TITLE:

"Energy and environment - the saving of energy"

 

SUMMARY OF PROGRAM:

Two main objectives:

  1. 1To comprehend to the students that the thoughtless use of not renewable sources of energy led to an energy crisis and to an enormous burden of the environment, with the creation of a line of serious problems, if they are not solved it will have as a consequence the hindrance of life on the planet.
  2. Develop a spirit of collaboration for the realization of common activities and events in the space of the school and the local society aiming at the confrontation of environmental problems developing the knowledge and the dexterities that they acquired.
 

Activities:

  1. Separation of students in teams and research for the forms of energy.
  2. Approach of uses of energy with dramatization and role playing.
  3. Measurements and experiments in order for the students to comprehend the effect of energy.
  4. Visits in places that are offered for guided environmental use(hydroelectric factory of Tavropos-Manufacture of solar heaters and manufacture of types of internal heating).
