"The saving of energy in daily life (buildings)"

Two main objectives:

1. For the students to know the importance of energy, the energy problem and its repercussions to the environment but also its prospects of resolution.
2. Be encouraged in the planning of concrete action, in the decision-making of change of attitude and in the active attendance towards the solution on the energy issue.

Activities:

1. The students will work in teams. In each meeting with the help of educational material there will be a briefing and there will follow a discussion .
2. There will be visits to the KAPE, in the solar village, GAIA, NATIONAL ELECTRICAL COMPANY, KPE Moyzakiou, "Energy in the environment of a child", in which a team participates. Before a visit there will be a questionnaire and then an analysis on the conclusions.
3. There will be a testing on energy control in the school and in the house.
4. A questionnaire will be handed out and then there will be a treatment and analysis, of the conclusions with regard to the attitude of students but also other individuals as for the subject of energy.
5. The students will collaborate with the Environmental team of the 1st Senior High School of Vrilissia that participates and this in the Environmental network "Energy in the environment of the child"
6. There will be a booklet with proposals on the saving of energy
7. There will be a presentation of the results of the research in the school and local community
