PROGRAM TITLE: "The natural gas in our city and in our life"
 

SUMMARY OF PROGRAM

Main objectives:

  1. Introduce to the students the new sources of energy and the beneficial consequences that the use of natural gas has in the environment and in their health.
  2. Collaborate, handle, work, manufacture and be capable to acquire abilities and to correspond in the new data of technology.


 

Visits:

  1. A visit to a house which uses natural gas
  2. A living approach in the streets of our district, where pipes have been placed for the transfer of natural gas
  3. Visit in the factories of Exalcos A. K. Valavani Bros A.E (glass industry) where they use natural gas, firstly for co-production of hot water and secondly as fuel matter for the operation of the chimney
  4. Visit to the NE.SY.THERM and briefing on the appliances and the systems of safety of natural gas.


 

Other activities:

  1. Questionnaire
  2. Classification of informative material in teams and its placement in the corner that we created for the natural gas
  3. Coloration of maps of production of natural gas in Larissa
  4. Coloration of map in Greece from where the central gas pipe passes.
